Do You Love Me?

Remembering elementary days when folded pieces of paper were on my desk with frayed edges. Reading...'Do you love me?' check the box (yes or no). I'm sure many of us can recall similar experiences, but in all the love triangles on the playground, only ONE love really matters.

Nothings more powerful than to be loved fully, however our ability/context of love is often shaped by our experiences; nevertheless, to love we must understand sacrifice.

His love for us?

Are marked by the scars in His hands for you and I.

Jesus asked Peter, "Do you love me?"

It's important that we self examine whether Christ has Lordship over our lives. We can find ourselves proclaiming our love/adoration for God but allowing the circumstances of life to crowd Him out. Instead of casting off the things that distract us from truly belonging to Him, we live a life of 'Casual Christians'.

Jesus isn't content with mere profession of our love but the evidence that our hearts are loyal to Him.

Love Him More Than Life.
